| Background:
Thomas Halloway was born into privilege in the late 19th century, the only child of John and Elizabeth Halloway. At the shock of seeing his father shot and killed, young Thomas manifested his medium abilities when numerous “scarce” sources leaked him to his father’s killer. Thomas attacked and killed his father’s murderer then fled to British Columbia with Chereese, the young woman he loved. Under the identity of Vermin, the first ghost that came in contact with Thomas, he became involved in handling the unfinished business of the dead and due to his tenacity of never backing down from a challenge, he acquired the suitor of Caretaker. When Caretaker confronted the son of his father’s murderer, (this is rumored to be Mark Caloway, a.k.a the Undertaker) a battle ensued, tragically ending with Chereese impaled on Caretaker’s blooming powers. Wracked by grief over the death of the woman he truly loved, Caretaker fled into the unknown. He was not seen for over 200 years and it is said that a Thomas Halloway in the latter part of the 20th century was present at the debut of the Undertaker’s appearance in WWE. At that time his life became shrouded in mystery, peppered with half truths and anecdotal reports of unconfirmed sightings. Now assuming the role as the Caretaker between the heavens the earth, Caretaker continues to be a dominate force after having a 42-8 win-loss record in his first year in VWF, he continues to be a feared competitor with his fair attitude and willingness to stay as VWF Champion. He has twice gotten revenge for the death of his love in VWF, among other feds can not be accounted, but the price he paid was high, he can never again know his family or his love on the otherside and must forever live with his secret curse. Caretaker came to VWF after learning of Undertaker’s presence and debuted on February 14, 2005 on VWF is RAW in a tag match with Saburwolf against the Devil’s Sin. Caretaker dominated the match up only to have his foolish “partner” assume his position and try to win the match on his own, he failed and Saburwolf was pinned easily. Caretaker furiously challenged the Devil’s Sin to a handicap match. However, being the scared beggars they were they begged Vince to only make it a single w/manager match. Caretaker dominated once more until it took 7 outsiders to keep him down for more than 3 seconds. Caretaker challenged them both a cage match saying “he prefers his animals caged”, however, they neglected to even respond. Caretaker debuted on Crucifiction on February 17, 2005 against Tazz and his nemesis the Undertaker. Caretaker dominated once more, and pinned both Tazz and Taker at the same time. The past between Caretaker and Undertaker would be forever laid to rest the following Crucifiction after Caretaker destroyed Undertaker’s Urn with lightning and completely destroyed Undertaker in a Hardcore match, Undertaker has not been seen since. This was the first of 4 careers Caretaker would go on to end. Caretaker went virtually undefeated from then on for almost 2 months. His most controversial match up was against a woman named Roma Adele III, who had come up and challenged him. The end result saw Caretaker win easily, but to this day it is still debated because when Caretaker went onto pin her, he disappeared into the dark and left Roma tied in barbwire against a ring post. She has not been seen since, either it was humiliation or fear, she became the second career that Caretaker went on to end. After defeating numerous champions, Caretaker finally got a shot at the Hardcore title in a Mall Brawl, where he had won the title twice against 5 other competitors in the same night. The following Crucifiction, Caretaker won it and held unto it for 3 months. Caretaker then started in his biggest feud at the time with Johnny Kae. Both were in a World Title Tournament. Caretaker has previously defeated Kae. After Kae had involved himself yet again against his nemesis, Caretaker struck back by striking his brother down with lightning as he began to interfere in Jon’s match to help him win and go on. Kae needless to say lost the first match of the tournament and was disqualified, whereas Caretaker had made it to the semi finals until Kae yet again involved himself, and ended up losing his title to Caretaker at the PPV. Scared and frightened for his life, Kae begged then owner the Viking King to have a roster split so he can be away from Caretaker. The following day, the VWF had a roster split, with Kae as the GM of Full House and Caretaker remained on Crucifiction. Caretaker remains undefeated on Crucifiction. VWF Closes, because Brad decided to take a nap in the tanning booths, he woke up 4 months later and was inducted in to the negros hall of fame for tanning. This started the 3rd match of 10 matches Caretaker would have in his career against Bishop which Bishop still fails to gain a victory. When the VWF’s doors closed, Caretaker went onto win two titles in other feds such as HWE and IWA, winning the Western Pacific Championship in HWE and the Intercontinental Championship. Both feds closed, which means Caretaker still holds the titles to this day. Caretaker went undefeated for nearly 4months after VWF reopened, Viking King finally decided to put Caretaker in the King of the Ring tournament. In which Caretaker won by defeating Bishop, Elvis Capone, and Cisco KID who had defeated Caretaker’s long time enemy Michael Bunda. Caretaker went on to face then champion Venom and Bishop who somehow gave a good blow job to the Viking King to let him in the match. After along and brutal fight, Caretaker emerged victorious. This sparked a very momentous feud between Venom and Caretaker. Venom had somehow managed to find a book containing Caretaker’s family tree which also contained death records and personal documents. The only way Venom would not reveal Caretaker’s history was for him to give him back the VWF Championship. Caretaker unfortunately did just that, and soon found himself to be the slave of Venom for weeks until Caretaker turned on him while in an ambulance match against Iman Sain. Venom threw Caretaker into the ambulance and set it on fire, causing it to explode with Caretaker in it, giving Iman Sain a free victory. Caretaker returned a few weeks later at the Royal Rumble in a new somber, and in match he invented which would become one of the most brutal and grotesque matches in VWF history, the Hangman’s Match. Caretaker hung Venom and won back his Championship and held onto it for 7 months, longer than any other VWF wrestler. Caretaker lost it to Justin Possible after Bishop…again…involved himself with the only man he can not defeat, Caretaker was then not seen for 4 months. Now he is back in another new somber, and has reunited with his Army of Devastation, along with 3 newly recruited member. Shovelman, for to bury their fallen enemies and/or comrades, John Crazy to lead him into a new environment, and Tazz for his choking tendencies. The only question remains, how far will Caretaker go to get back the VWF Championship? |
