| Appearance:
Creed has shoulder length jet black hair and a
neatly trimmed goatee, with piecing green eyes. Outside of the ring
he is never seen without dark sunglasses and a long leather trench coat.
Creed is a vicious combatant. Once he finds an opponents weakness he zones in on it, never relenting until the bell has sounded, sometimes not even then. The ‘voices’ wont let Creed quit. Since taking on his darker persona, Creed has never submitted – apparently the ‘voices’ will punish him if he does, instead the end usually comes about with Creed passing out from the pain, causing yet more damage to his already heavily scarred body. Mind games seem to be Creed’s favourite pass time, nothing is too sick or twisted for him. Once in a buried alive match, Creed knocked his opponent unconscious but instead of burying him, he pulled his opponents girlfriend out of the crowd and buried her instead. |

| Background:
Creed begin his career as a badass biker in the now defunct ICW (International Championship Wrestling). Before long he was embroiled in a nasty feud with an up and coming Goth by the name of Lync – a feud that brought about some of the most vicious matches ever seen in the federation. By the end of their war, neither man was the same: Lync, a reclusive character before the fighting started, became even more so. Creed on the other hand picked up a taste for the hardcore style that had become a trademark of his battles with the Goth. By the end of his tenure in the ICW, Creed had become a two time Tag team champion – teaming oddly enough with his greatest rival in the ICW Lync. A four time Intercontinental champion – his third reign breaking two federation records: the first man to hold the title on the three occasions and, for the longest reign as ICW Intercontinental champion – six days short of nine months. Last but not least, Creed left the federation having held its World Heavyweight title twice. His second reign had him defending the title more times then any other holder in the championships history – a total of 34 successful defences. The HWF (Hardcore Wrestling Federation) was the next organisation to house Creed. It was here that not only did Creed renew his war with Lync, but also that he would meet a man who was to become one of Creed’s greatest rivals – The Fugitive. At one point a three way Warfare match was scheduled for the vacant HWF Extremist title – the federation’s equivalent of the World Championship. Lync, Creed and the Fugitive fought on an epic scale. After a match so brutal that some fans actually fainted in the audience, it was the Fugitive that stood victorious. The Extremist title changed hands back forth between all three combatants no less then 12 times over the next 8 months. His time as part of the HWF roster twisted Creed in a way that nobody could have foreseen. It wasn’t only his body that was left battered and scarred. His mind was too. Falling into a dark depression following his final title loss to his old rival Lync, Creed vanished from the wrestling scene for almost 6 months. When he returned, Creed was a far different person from the badass biker that the fans remembered and loved. During his hiatus, Creed had met another whose soul had become as dark and as scarred as his own, the beautiful Raven. Reinventing himself, Creed started to believe that he was the ‘Soul Reaver’, a being from and chosen by the Darkness to take the souls of the weak. The duet debuted in the ECWA (Extreme Class Wrestling Association) and quickly established themselves as the Sinister Duo atop the federation with Raven taking the Women’s Title and Creed defeating Blitzkrieg to win the World Championship. Maybe it was a bad omen but soon after the twosome came into double gold, the ECWA folded. Creed and Raven floated around through federations notching up title reigns in various organisations such as the WWA, XWA, WCAW, IWF but to name a few. Eventually Creed found himself in the VWF (Viking Wrestling Federation). Soon after arriving Creed lifted the United States Championship from Jax. However his reign was cut short. Outside interference from a returning Fugitive caused Creed to drop the belt to Kid Rock. Their feud renewed, the age old adversaries began a battle the likes of which the VWF had never seen. Fugitive however had yet to face the new, Darker Creed and so their first encounter under the VWF banner was a decisively one sided fight with Creed taking the win. In between his on/off feud with the Fugitive, Creed renewed his partnership with another old face, Lync. In fact the duo captured the VWF Tag Team Titles on two separate occasions. The remainder of his tenure in the VWF was titleless, though his battles with the Fugitive left more of an impression then a million championship reigns. After the VWF, Creed along with his companion Raven ventured to the WCCW. Their time there was cut brutally short. In only his fourth match, a miscommunication between Creed and Raven resulted in his companion blasting Creed in the face with a steel chair. His opponent, Michael Dent, quickly took advantage; proceeding to beat Creed worse then he’d ever been before. Again Creed vanished. Opting to keep a low profile, Creed, under the guise of ‘Lee Ryan’ turned up in the ICWA. Using his new Identity ‘Lee Ryan’ won the federations World Title on three occasions. His third reign however lasted only 3 minutes. Having been newly appointed as the General Manager, the Fugitive’s first declaration was to force ‘Lee Ryan’ to defend his literally new title against the GM himself. Bloody and exhausted, ‘Lee Ryan’ was no match for his opponent and dropped the belt. The loss hit him hard. Halfway through a promo with the federations then President, The Rick, the Fugitive chose to interrupt. Showing off his newly acquired championship belt, the GM began to berate ‘Ryan’. It was the final straw. His already fragile mind shattered. His Darker persona returned. In an almost literal transformation, ‘Ryan’ attacked the champion, beating him to a bloody mess. Grabbing the microphone from the Rick, ‘Ryan’ announced he was back, truly back that is. A championship match was set up between ‘Lee Ryan’ and the Fugitive. As the time of the match arrived, ‘Ryan’ failed to appear when he was called. His entrance music blared from the speakers, his pyro display dazzled the crowd, but the man was nowhere to be seen. Fugitive made his way to the ring and demanded that he be declared the winner by forfeit. Just as the announcement was to be made the arena was plunged into darkness and a familiar yet almost forgotten entrance theme exploded from the arena PA system. Accompanied by his old companion Raven, Creed was back. The match itself, as with all their many, many previous encounters was a brutal, bloody and extreme affair. Creed came out the victor and the new ICWA champion. Soon after winning the title, Creed disappeared. The ICWA was left with little choice but to vacate the title. Creed seemingly vanished, never to be seen again…….until now. |
