Entrance: As the lights go dim, only a few blue spotlights shine down upon the entrance. After a few moments quietness, a loud explosion, followed by a pyro fireball explodes from the stage area. Pyro/fireworks then shoot skywards from the stage area as it covers the whole entrance area. "Anytime Anywhere" by Gotthard then hits the arena as the bright pyro's/firework's clears the entrance area somewhat to reveal an outline of a male silhouette. Suddenly, that male silhouette steps through the remaining pyro, revealing Matt Arcara with a look of sheer arrogance upon his face. The fans then let out loud boos upon the sight of Arcara which doesn't really phase "The Living Legend", and Matt makes his way down towards the ring as the fans still boo. Matt periodically stops and gives the fans a look of disdain. Once at ringside, Matt heads towards the ringsteps and clambers up them before walking along the ring apron before leaning back first against the ropes and looking at the fans. Matt shakes his head before flipping off the audience before backflipping into the ring and landing on his feet and turning around. the fans continue their hatred towards the American as Matt extends his arms into a wing like state as his music slowly fades away.
Background: Born into a wealthy family, Matt Arcara had it all whilst growing up in the posh region of Denver, Colorado. With his father owning one of the largest companies not only in America but the world, his son, Matt was winning national championships in high school and then college. In high school, Matt was captain of the athletics team as well as the swimming team. He won numerous national championship in the 100 metres as well as swimming. Once Matt moved into college however, that was when he got into wrestling, joining the amateur wrestling circuit, within four months Matt became the Junior Light Heavyweight Champion, a title he would hold for a year. After two years of college, Matt finally captured the Amateur Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship, but disaster would quickly follow. A few days after his success, Matt was stripped of his title victory due to the illegal use of the Gogoplata Choke hold he used to capture the title. Enraged, Matt delivered a hard punch to the mouth of the college dean, thus forcing the college educational board to permanently suspend Matt Arcara and thus, failing to graduate. However, a few months after leaving college, Matt not only joining the pro wrestling scene's training programme in ECFW but also began working with his father. However, Matt's father passed away last year and due to being a widower and Matt being the only child, inherited everything. Therefore, as the new owner of the software business "ARCARATECH" Matt quickly made it into a bigger success than it already was. Matt was already wrestling in ECFW full-time by that time, where he amounted major success, becoming a 2-time World Heavyweight Champion, a former tag team champion, a Golden Ticket winner and also accumulating an undefeated streak that lasted nine months and eighteen days. Once ECFW closed though, Matt who left as their last ever World Champion, become a free agent, in fact the feds were eager to snap up this young wrestling superstar. But Matt would not sign anything due to the money never being right. The most sought after free agent in the wrestling business, who would sign the major superstar? After appearing at the recent Extreme Tournament and impressing greatly, VWF made it their mission to sign this gifted athlete. They used all of their resources and their business skills to make sure they got this mega-superstar, they saw something special in this man that they have not seen in anybody else before. They knew they would have to break the bank to apprehend this athlete and that they did on national television, and worldwide, the contract signing took place after lengthy discussions, Matt was offered the deal and became known as the biggest signing in the history of the VWF as well as the most expensive. Now let us see if this pricetag is going to reap the benefits, I'd say yes!
