Rules of The VWF

- You can have a "real" wrestler (EX: Goldburg, The Rock, etc) or a "made-up" wrestler (EX: George the Garbageman). It doesn't matter either way, and doesn't affect how you will be handled. Whatever you do, have fun.

- There are multiple boards that have expanded over the years. Weve come a long way from the days of one RP Board and one OOC Board. All boards are now linked on one main page for them all. Please use the appropriate boards for the appropriate uses. Post roleplays on the correct board for a show or a pay per view, and post OOC and random stuff on the appropriate boards as well. - The VWF has a long-standing policy of non-censorship. If you swear, fine. If you act like a jerk, go ahead. However, if you come out and attack someone, I will also allow them to defend themselves. There is alot of joking around among members who have been in The VWF for anywhere from 4 to 8 years. They know each other as well as you can know someone who is roleplaying as a character that they wish they were, and is probably the exact opposite of what they are in real life. All I ask is use your common sense to think of when you might "cross the line." If you do, you'll know. THAT is where I will step in.

- If you think a member is being especially mean to you, just E-mail, PM or IM me, and I'll talk to him or her about it.

- You cannot use any other wrestler in your roleplays without their permission. You may make fun of them, but you cannot use them directly.

- The exception to that is the on screen characters which The VWF uses. They are:

VWF Owner The Viking King - Owner (Never says I or Me.)
Lorie McWiggletits - Viking's Secretary/Assistant/Interviewer
Kyle Bacon - Interviewer (Pussy)
Sarah Mackenzie - Interviewer (Token Hot Girl)
Claire La Fagina - Interviewer (Hot Ditz)
Joey Styles - Announcer
P. Lickin - Announcer (Pervert)

- If you feel that you lost a match in error, you can disput it. I won't be able to reverse the decision, however, you can make your case to me. However, if you want an intelligent, respectful and thoughtful response, I would ask that you do the same. Don't do it publically (on a board). You can e-mail, PM or IM me, and we can discuss it further from that point on.

- You must roleplay or post regularly. If you need time off from roleplaying, let me know, and I can make sure you have a spot when you come back. If you show up, roleplay twice then leave for a month for no reason, come back and do it all over again, Im not going to continue to add you to the roster, book you, take you off the roster, then put you back on over and over. I'm talking to you Tim Rage.

- The The VWF reserves the right to strip any wrestler of any title at any time. The VWF also reserves the right to fire any wrestler at any time. Also, while VWF members are not allowed to use another wrestler in their RPs without permission, The Viking King may use your wrestler for interaction in a show or oleplay. He will NEVER make you look foolish, and will attempt to be true to your character as much as possible.

- Do not come out and automatically demand title shots, especially World Title shots. I will guarantee you that you will NOT win any title unless you have two matches under your belt. And NO wrestler will even have a SHOT at the VWF World Heavyweight Championship unless they have at least Seven (7) wins in singles competition, no matter HOW good they are. Those are my rules. I believe that in order to win the World Belt, you need to be dedicated to a fed. You can't just hop into a fed, win the World Title within a couple weeks, then leave and move on to another fed. If you demonstrate that you have above average roleplaying skills, AND you are involved in the fed (unless you involvement means just bitching and moaning without reason. Bitching and moaning WITH a reason is accepted and appreciated) you will NOT win the World Title. So don't waste our time and yours by demanding what you have not earned.

- I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE FOLLOWING GOT INTO THE RULES. I THINK VOX MUST HAVE DONE IT, SINCE HE WAS THE ONLY OTHER ONE WITH THE PASSWORD, AND HE'S BRITISH. If "The Infamous" dp happens to BURN you like a scalding iron, take it with a pinch of salt. dp - Dextra-haligra-salinatarium (Neo-Latin) stands for wit, humour and above all else, sarcasm. dp, as it's commonly known is a virus, conspired and created by Bill Gates to bring down spirits in eWrestling and eFederations to make way for Microsoft eWrestling which will be coming out in the year 2012 when Microsoft rules the world. So please, curse at this aol instant messanger screen name (I AM 2DECK) in an attempt to foil Bill Gates' plan, before the whole world is doomed~!

- Have fun, it's a game, don't take things too seriously.

- Only 2 roleplays per wrestler per match.

- You may be confused as to some of the inside jokes here. There are ALOT of them. If you have trouble keeping up, go here: http://www.thevwf.net/glossary.html . That should help a little, and as the vets remember stuff that should be added, it will be added.

- Roleplay deadlines are MIDNIGHT CST, the day before the show. Is it a dick move to post a roleplay 5 minutes before a deadline? Maybe. Is it legal? Yep. Sorry. Life sucks that way sometimes. Nothing I can do about it. In case you are wondering WHEN 6PM is in the world of The VWF, it is Central Standard time. Which is the time it is in Chicago, Illinois, USA, where VWF Headquarters is "headquartered." London is 6 hours ahead of The VWF.

- If you are concerned, curious, or confused on current storylines, go to http://www.thevwf.net/storylines.html . I, per a conversation about it online (credit to Seth Rage) decided it would help out to keep track. I will constantly update it as things change. If you feel I have something wrong, or need to add/subtract something, e-mail or PM me, and I'll take care of it.

- Nobody is to publically make fun of P-ryde Wrestling Federation on the boards.

- If you have a VikingTron made, it is at http://www.thevwf.net/Roster/pictures

Belt Structure

This is the belt structure in The VWF, what the belts mean, and how you can get involved in them...

VWF World Heavyweight Championship
- You must have at least 7 wins under your belt to get a World Title shot, unless otherwise earned via tournament, Royal Rumble, or other VWF event.
- Represents the entire world.
- The World Heavyweight Belt is the highest honor bestowed upon anyone in The VWF. It is a reward to dedication, consistancy, and hard work. More likely then not, storylines affect this belt than not, so that's why rookies are kept away from it for the most part. I feel it is degrading to a fed and a belt if someone skates in, wins the belt, and then just leaves. It's happened, and it will NOT happen here.
- Only Heavyweights can compete for this belt. 240 lbs. and up.
- CHANGED EFFECTIVE 11/18 The only exception to the weight rule is if a Middleweight has captured the Cabo Wabo Middleweight AND Pan-Pacific Title, they can then compete for the World Heavyweight Belt as well.

Intercontinental Championship
- Primary singles championship.
- Anyone on the roster can compete for this belt, regardless of weight or sex with 2 matches under their belt.
- Represents North and South America.

Eurocontinental Championship
- Primary singles championship.
- Anyone on the roster can compete for this belt, regardless of weight or sex with 2 matches under their belt.
- Represents Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

United States Championship
- Second tier belt. Represents the United States.
- Anyone on the roster can compete for this belt, regardless of weight or sex with 2 matches under their belt.

Britannia Heavyweight Championship
- Second tier belt. Represents the United Kingdom.
- Anyone on the roster can compete for this belt, regardless of weight or sex with 2 matches under their belt.

Cabo Wabo Middleweight Championship
- Specialty championship for smaller, high flying wrestlers.
- Only wrestlers, male or female, weighing under 240 lbs. can compete for this belt, with 2 matches under their belt.
- Represents South America
- - If a Middleweight has captured the Cabo Wabo Middleweight Title and the Pan-Pacific Championship at least once each, they can then compete for the World Heavyweight Belt as well.

Pan-Pacific Championship
- Specialty championship for smaller, high flying wrestlers.
- Only wrestlers, male or female, weighing under 240 lbs. can compete for this belt, with 2 matches under their belt.
- Represents the Pacific region (Japan, Australian, Phillipines, etc)
- - If a Middleweight has captured the Cabo Wabo Middleweight Title and the Pan-Pacific Championship at least once each, they can then compete for the World Heavyweight Belt as well.

World Tag-Team Championships
- Specialty championship for tag-teams consisting of 2 wrestlers, male or female.
- Must have 2 matches under their belt to compete for this championship.
